Welcome!

Mission statement
We exist to build up the body of Christ by providing support, strategies and supplies to churches and mission endeavors around the world. Our current focus is in Tecate, Mexico.

Update
Betty and I made a trip to Tecate in November  to bring school supplies to the children in the area. It was a good trip. Anna has remarried and is quite happy. Peter and Anna are helping kids get off the street and are letting them stay in their house. It’s a very good ministry.

Latest News
No much news to report. We had a garage sale on the 12th and 13th of February and we raised $600. Betty and I are going to Nashville for the NRB (National Religious Broadcasters) convention on February 23rd. When we return on March 5, we’ll be leaving on the mission trip in two weeks.

Next trip._An1273
Our next trip is in March. We will leave on the 20th and return on the 28th. As of today (2/11/10) we need a 15 passenger van or two. We used to rent one from a national company, but they were bought out and not they don’t rent 15 passenger vans and do not let their vehicles leave the country. We could really use prayer for this. We are starting our fund raisers to build up our reserve to have the money for the supplies by the beginning of March. We don’t know if the cost may be higher this next year. It has hovered around $3,000 for several years and it would be good if it stayed there, but we don’t know. We also don’t know how many people will be going on the trip.

Project for 2010
We have two families that will be getting a house. We’re going to build the 16X24 house for each family. We are also adding two Sunday School rooms for Alpha y Omega.

How you can help
Our trips cost an average of $600 per person and that includes the cost of materials for the projects. If someone doesn’t have health insurance to cover them while on the trip, another $25 will be needed to purchase the insurance. We can also use donations for supplies and materials. A house is about $3,000 if you would like to help a family in need. A tax deductible contribution can be made if you make a check payable to Northview Evangelical Free Church and specify it’s for the Tecate project. You may contact us for specific questions.

Donation Buckets

We bring donations down in 5 gallon buckets. These are the ones we brought down in 2005.
