Welcome!

Mission statement
We exist to build up the body of Christ by providing support, strategies and supplies to churches and mission endeavors around the world. Our current focus is in Tecate, Mexico.

Update
Betty and I made a trip to Tecate in August again in 2008  to bring school supplies to the children in the area. It was a good trip. Anna’s husband, Frank died just after our trip last year and she has been doing okay and plans to continue the work. Please pray for Anna and the family. It’s hard to make ends meet in the off season.

Latest News
Betty and I will be visiting Tecate around Thanksgiving when we go to visit Michael, my son, who is living in Phoenix and will be in school during the trip. At this point, we don’t know if he will have a break around the time of the trip. If he does, he’ll come and if not... If he doesn’t have a break it will be the first time he missed the trip since 1999.

Next trip._An1273
Our next trip is less than four months away (March 21-29, 2009) and we could use your support for the trip. We are going to start with fund raisers soon and build up our reserve to have the money for the supplies by February. We don’t know if the cost may be higher this next year. It has hovered around $3,000 for several years and it would be good if it stayed there, but we don’t know. We also don’t know how many people will be going on the trip.

Project for 2009
We do have a project for the next trip, yet. We will be getting more information after the first of the year. The need is great and there are many who could use a house.

How you can help
Our trips cost an average of $525 per person and that includes the cost of materials for the projects. If someone doesn’t have health insurance to cover them while on the trip, another $25 will be needed to purchase the insurance. We can also use donations for supplies and materials. A house is about $3,000 if you would like to help a family in need. A tax deductible contribution can be made if you make a check payable to Northview Evangelical Free Church and specify it’s for the Tecate project. You may contact us for specific questions.

Donation Buckets

We bring donations down in 5 gallon buckets. These are the ones we brought down in 2005.
