This is the first year we went on our own and some other adults came on the trip. Keep in mind that, until recently, most adults never took a second trip. Also remember that these teenagers are now around thirty years old and some with kids getting close to being teenagers.
We built a house for Eulogia’s father. He suffered a heart attack and needed to move from Mexico City to Tecate to be near his daughter. We built the house on her property.

2002 Group - We went from 6 to 10. Technically, we had 3 people and 7 teenagers. -
Framing - The little boy (front center) is the grandson of the man who received the house. He wanted to help so much. -
Frank - Frank (right) gives instructions to George. Frank designed these houses. He went to be with the Lord in 2008. -
Finished - The group and the family. Eulogia & Franciso are on the right and their children, Juan and Sergio are on the front right. -
Dedication - The dedication hits you when you realize you haven't built a house, you've changed someone's life. -
Life in Tecate - This is the house next to the one we built. The washing machine works and it is their laundry room. -
Fun? - Sometimes the kids get a little too playful. This is one of those times. -
After Work - After a long day building, there is some time for relaxing. We stayed at a camp for that had a swing tied to a branch of a old tree. -
Fun Day - We went to Sea World. Anita (red head in the center) sat too close to the dolphin take. I was far enough back to take the picture and stay dry.
